Zhejiang Best Annual Fire Drill

To equip all staff with basic fire protection knowledge,strengthen self-protection capabilities,master emergency response and escape skills for sudden fires,learn fire extinguishing methods and orderly emergency personnel evacuation procedures,our company held a "Fire Emergency Drill" from 16:00 to 17:00 on the afternoon of June 25.We fully implemented all work arrangements and key requirements for the drill,mobilized all staff to participate and reinforced employees' safety awareness and emergency escape capabilities.

Zhejiang Best Intenerated Pencil Wood Co.,Ltd.organizes a company-wide fire drill every shturl. effectively prevent and control risks,avoid sudden accidents and improve emergency handling capacity,the company has set up a volunteer fire brigade.

A communication liaison reported a fire breakout in the rod making workshop of the pencil production line with thick smoke on site and requested rescue.Factory Director Wu Maqing,the chief commander,immediately sounded the fire alarm and dispatched the volunteer fire brigade to the scene to officially launch the drill.

Staff evacuation was carried out in accordance with pre-planned targets.

All employees evacuated to the open area in less than one minute after hearing the fire alarm.The whole process proceeded tensely and orderly without any crowding or falls.

Participants practiced fire extinguisher operation to grasp operating steps,simulated fire suppression,learned the performance and usage of dry powder fire extinguishers and watched on-site demonstrations on putting out initial fires.Employees carefully studied and simulated the fire emergency plan to proficiently master fire extinguisher usage.

Practical operation drills for gasoline water pumps were conducted under simulated power failure conditions.All participants concentrated to learn detailed operating procedures including battery-driven pump startup and rapid water supply via connected hoses.

A detailed drill plan and scheme were formulated for this activity covering simulated fire scenes,escape,evacuation,fire extinguisher operation and gasoline water pump practice.The entire drill lasted 60 minutes with 340 participants.It effectively enhanced staff fire safety awareness and enabled them to master fire extinguisher operation steps as well as gasoline water pump application under power failure scenarios with satisfactory outcomes.This fire drill further strengthened fire safety awareness among employees of Zhejiang Best Intenerated Pencil Wood Co.,Ltd.and improved their emergency response capacity against fires.All staff stated they will bear in mind the tenet "Prevent fire hazards before they emerge and fire safety responsibilities weigh heavier than Mount Tai" in future daily work.
