Recently,the Ministry of Water Resources released the list of the sixth batch of counties(districts)that have met the standards for water-saving society construction.A total of 323 counties(districts)including Dacheng County in Hebei Province have passed the water-saving society evaluation standards.Twelve counties(cities,districts)in Zhejiang Province were selected,four of which are located in Lishui City.Up to now,76 counties(cities,districts)across the province have been recognized by the Ministry of Water Resources,with a coverage rate of 84%.

Songyang County

In recent years,Songyang County has continuously promoted the construction of "Pastoral Songyang",established and improved water-saving mechanisms,strengthened multi-party coordination,and adopted multiple measures to realize water-saving consumption reduction,water-saving emission reduction and water-saving output growth.

Songyang County has formulated a scientific and rational water intake plan management system,and actively carried out water consumption planning within the scope of urban public water supply.Water consumption quotas are assigned to water-taking enterprises with an annual pipe network water consumption exceeding 10,000 cubic meters,achieving effective control over total water consumption.The county has vigorously built water-saving demonstration benchmarks and successfully built 1 benchmark water-saving hotel,1 benchmark water-saving campus,1 benchmark water-saving residential quarter and 2 benchmark water-saving enterprises so far.

At present,the metering rate of industrial water use in Songyang County reaches 100%.Water-saving carriers including 4 key water-consuming enterprises,240 public institutions and 5 residential quarters have been completed,and the leakage rate of urban pipe networks has dropped to 9.93%.

Qingyuan County

In recent years,Qingyuan County has integrated water conservation into the whole process of economic and social development and ecological civilization construction,conducted in-depth water-saving work and achieved remarkable results.

Qingyuan County has comprehensively promoted the conservation,protection and management of water resources.It strictly standardized water use behaviors focusing on total water consumption control,water quota management,planned water use management,water metering and water resource fee collection,and vigorously formulated and implemented various management policies.

In recent years,Jingning She Autonomous County has fully carried out water-saving society construction to coordinate economic and social development with the carrying capacity of water resources and water environment.

Jingning She Autonomous County vigorously builds water-saving carriers.At present,77% of public institutions in the county have been certified as water-saving units,the completion rate of water-saving residential quarters reaches 16.7%,and 2 provincial-level benchmark water-saving units have been built.The county continuously upgrades municipal water supply pipeline maintenance and keeps the leakage rate of urban pipe networks below 10%.More water metering facilities have been installed to achieve a 100% industrial water metering rate and over 60% metering rate for agricultural irrigation water.The county also actively promotes the reuse of reclaimed water with a utilization rate of 15.03%.

Longquan City

Since launching water-saving society construction,combining the water consumption structure and characteristics of mountainous counties,Longquan City has innovated water-saving concepts,transformed water-saving modes,effectively improved the utilization efficiency and benefits of water resources and strengthened water quality protection.

Longquan City has clarified control targets for total water consumption and water use efficiency and fully implemented the strictest water resource management system.The city has improved the indicator system for total water consumption and intensity control,fully promoted planned water use to implement the strictest water resource management system,and strictly controlled total water volume and water use intensity.Since the launch of water-saving society construction,a series of reforms in Longquan City have optimized and upgraded all water consumption indicators.
